Cloud Distribution Invests In Channel Partners With New Sales Masterclass Program
Cloud Distribution have enlisted the expertise of sales coach Jim Wigg to provide regular and complimentary sales training for partners
Reading, UK, 30th November 2020 – Cloud Distribution, the ‘Partner Growth’ Distributor specialising in innovative cloud-first cyber security, networking and SaaS solutions is investing into channel partners with a series of Sales Masterclasses focusing on key activities and critical points in the sales cycle.
Hosted by veteran Sales Coach Jim Wigg, and forming part of Cloud’s Partner Growth Services webinar series, the masterclasses are designed to enable partner sales teams and remind them of sales best practices to refresh and sharpen their core sales skills.
These short bite-sized sessions are perfect not just for new members of growing partner sales teams, but also for seasoned sales professionals within the business that need to refresh and hone their skills during these unprecedented times.
Adam Davison, sales and marketing director for Cloud Distribution, said: “We are constantly thinking of ways to help, enable, and upskill our partner community and we know that sometimes, going back to basics to make sure that core sales methods are in place to capitalise on opportunity can be essential. We know that the sales dynamic has changed during the last year and we want to ensure we give our partners the opportunity to remind, refresh, and sharpen their core sales skills.”
Jim Wigg said “Remote working has created a huge change in the environment for salespeople and the way they operate. Some have embraced it, others are struggling. One thing’s for certain, it’s accentuated the need for salespeople to have the right mindset and execute strongly on sales basics. Exposing the gap between the salespeople who do and the salespeople who don’t.”
The first bite sized masterclass will focus specifically on successful prospecting messaging, why a prospect should speak to a Partner, and how that underpins sales success.
Session 1: Successful Prospecting Messaging – December 1st 2020
Session 2: Prospecting Objections – Goo to get stuck in or gift to be grasped? – January 21st 2021
Further ahead the series will cover:
- Interest to Opportunity 1- Refreshing core discovery skills
- Interest to Opportunity 2 – Establishing the building blocks of an opportunity
- Lining Up the Ducks – Establishing a mutually agreed plan with your ‘Champion’
- Land and Expand – Moving beyond the opportunity and working strategically with customers
Partners also have access to Cloud Distribution’s Partner Growth Services to support their commercial, marketing and pipeline build activities, as well as professional services – without the need for costly upfront investments.
Should any partner Sales Leaders, Managers or Directors want to take this coaching further with a bespoke in-house program (outside of this program) Jim comes with a head start because of his experience with us in the Network and Security space.
